Foundation Neighborhood SUCCESS Award, Treez Please has 3–4 internship opportunities for
summer – fall 2011, beginning 7/25/2011.
This year's activities entail an 8 week commitment (6 hrs. per week) and combine classroom pedagogy (urban forestry guidelines and methods) with practical experience related to tree planting (i.e., tree surveys, selection, planting and maintenance).
Projects for 2011 include surveying street trees in the Crandall Park North neighborhood and participating in a tree survey of Wick Park in Youngstown, Ohio. If you are interested in this opportunity, please download
